You've likely attempted to decode my name by now and if you're still wondering, it's just a quirky twist on "Jake". I am a freelance photographer based in Winnipeg, Manitoba but more than ready for worldwide adventures -- specializing in portraits, lifestyle, and wedding.
Behind the lens, I am a dog dad, a lover of dance and a registered nurse. Ever since I could remember, I have always gravitated towards the arts. Art has always given me the opportunity to be myself and express myself when words can’t. Dance, graphite and acrylic paint were my original medium until I discovered my love for photography at age 14.
When you look through my work, you’ll find that there’s a little bit of everything. I love photographing genuine human connections and people in diverse creative atmospheres. My goal as your photographer isn’t just to provide images for you to look back on but also contribute to a beautiful and unforgettable experience with imagery that depicts your unique story and the memories they portray.
